Poulsbo Weekend

I got out of class early on Saturday (3:20 instead of the usual 4:45) and John and I packed our saddlebags and headed out for the peninsula.



Here we are on the ferry to Bainbridge Island.


I feel like I have a big alien head.

There's John exploring the tide pools on the sandy side of the bay.

Look - a recently deceased crab!


Oohhh - acorn barnacles and a sea snail of some sort (nice aliteration). Yup, those hard rocky looking things actually have live animals in them.
