Goodbye Grandma Olah
Thursday morning my Grandmother Olah died. She had been transfered from assisted living to the nursing home two weeks ago and wasn't doing very well. I have been listening to some recordings that John and I made of her and Grandpa talking about their life. It's weird to hear her voice and know that she isn't here anymore. I am trying to break them up into smaller tracks and amplify the sound a bit so I can send them to others who would like them.
We will be going to the memorial service in Pocatello, ID on Saturday, Sept. 2nd. Dad says that a few years ago she had written down what poems to read, what music to play, what to do with her remains - she made sure that everyone knew what to do.
I don't know how to write about this right now - maybe later.
