On the first day of vacation...

• I slept in until 9:45!! It was great.
• I learned last night that John's brother Matt is coming on Friday and staying until Monday. It will be really great to have him here, I just wish it was for a little bit longer. I have been looking for interesting things for us to do, but most places are not open on Christmas and Christmas Eve.

• John made sticky buns from scratch yesterday. They taste like gooey pecan pralines - yum.
• We are supposed to go to Sammamish to watch a marathon of The Lord of the Rings, but I might just stay here.
• I had a vodka tonic last night - it was really good.
• We got 3 packages - all from parents located in Texas, Kansas, and Colorado.
• My sister just moved back to Texas from Florida. She should be there today.
• My friend Katherine is very sore today because she walked up Queen Anne Hill twice yesterday.
• I got my grades for 2 of my classes - 3.6 in Policy and strategy and 3.1 (blah!!!!) in Project Management. The last one has not been posted yet.
• I am going to go read now.
