Fiesta de Patricia

Patricia had a large fiesta where everyone brought a dish and we all ate and danced and then voted on the dish we liked best in each category. Lots of fun!

Saturday Night in Pioneer Square

We had a good Saturday! I walked down to the market and bought red snapper and a few other essentials then made lunch. Pan-broiled snapper with homemade pesto, fresh green beans and portobello mushroom risotto with a glass of Mont Pellier Viognier.

I met John at Contour at about 8 and we had a beer and hung out until after sunset. We then wandered around Pioneer Square and went to The New Orleans for some AWESOME blues and decent creole food.

All is ...well..

I survived my final exams in two classes and scored right at the mean on both. Now I just have to figure out how to complete the group project and be at yearbook camp next week at the same time. I will be taking 14 kids with me to camp next Wed-Fri, then I have class all day Saturday, the project deadline is Sat., and I am suposed to be at Patricia's fiesta at 5:00 Saturday, complete with entries for the food competition. It will be an interesting week.

Meenwhile....back in the fun part of life....I have been watching Indian movies. This is a project that you have to break up into small pieces because all Indian movies are about 3 -4 hours long! So far, my favorite is Kal Ho Naa Ho - Tomorrow May Never Come . Yes, there is singing and dancing and sometimes it is quite silly, but I like it anyway.
